Iridium has been awarded the contract for the construction, conservation and operation of ten new centres and basic units for health on the Island of Majorca (Spain), a concession for eleven year, two months duration, with a total investment of twenty one million Euros.

On 29 January 2010, the consortium led by Iridium, with 49.5% participation in the concessionaire, was awarded the concession of five health centres and five basic health units located in Majorca (Spain). The total constructed area is 13,693 square metres and a project investment of 21 million Euros. It shall also include more than 130 parking spaces. The concession contract is for eleven years and two months duration.

The concession agreement was signed on 18 February 2010 and includes the construction, maintenance, conservation, updating and operation of the health centres (HC) of Muro, Esporles, Sa Pobla, Son Servera and Andratx and the basic health units (BHU) of Ses Salines, Porreres, Ariany, Es Moliner and María de la Salut.

The Joint Venture, lead by Dragados with 49.5%, shall execute the works within a ten-month period for the five BHUs and twelve months the five HCs.
