Majadahonda Hospital
Iridium has been the pioneer in the development of hospital concessions, which has involved construction, non-electromedical equipping, financing and provision of non-medical services for hospitals.

In 2005, Iridium was awarded its first hospital contract for Majadahonda Hospital in Madrid (Spain), which has replaced Madrid's old Puerta de Hierro Hospital. With almost 800 beds and a total investment of €250 million, this hospital is the first hospital concession in Spain that does not include medical services.

In 2006, Iridium was awarded the contract for the new Son Dureta Hospital in Palma de Mallorca (Spain). Intended to be the leading hospital in the Balearic Islands, it will have 987 hospital beds.
